So you are probably asking yourself. Why in the world would someone make a website about this topic?
It’s foul.. disgusting.. and downright crude!
But wait! Hear us out. When you have that time of need and feel sick you need help right? Well that’s where we come in (not literally, IHD does **not** do housecalls!) to give you the information you need to protect yourself. This is one of those topics in life where being prepared rules all. But if tragedy strikes, come tell your tale to everyone so we can all learn. Pics and videos always welcome. Your among friends here, we’ll keep the tp rolling for you.
This site was started by Rick Friendly and Dave Rook, two friends from New York who would go on weekly dinner excursions and one Thursday night not too long ago they were both struck down by the hand of unclean water. Rick is a personal trainer, and Dave works at a pet store. So the combination of knowledge between the two of them is oddly compatible and increases the scope of knowledge that we can impart to you, the viewer here in your or your pets time of need.

Definition:
Diarrhea (from the Greek, διὰρροια meaning “a flowing through”), also spelled diarrhoea, is the condition of having three or more loose or liquid bowel movements per day. It is a common cause of death indeveloping countries and the second most common cause of infant deaths worldwide. The loss of fluids through diarrhea can cause dehydration and electrolyte imbalances. In 2009 diarrhea was estimated to have caused 1.1 million deaths in people aged 5 and over and 1.5 million deaths in children under the age of 5. Oral rehydration salts and zinc tablets are the treatment of choice and have been estimated to have saved 50 million children in the past 25 years.
